Kevin's Story

Kevin played soccer and football during his high school years, but ultimately fell out of love with both and decided to pursue the path of a normal college student. He ended up going to the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he studied for some time before getting that itch... that itch that so many athletes get when they stop playing their sport.

The Comeback

Kevin decided to get back into goalkeeping with the hopes that he could make something out of his career — this is when he came to us. We advised Kevin that he needed to play games, as this was going to be the only way he could be recruited and would be huge for his development after being out of the game for a while. He trialed for multiple UPSL teams and ultimately ended up signing for Plantation FC. He was able to gather together some film which we began sending out to college coaches. Wiley University, a junior college in Texas, really liked Kevin and offered him a spot for the 2025 season.

Success!

Kevin decided to commit to Wiley University because it was his best chance at getting games to continue developing and climbing the ladder in his career. He EARNED himself the starting spot and led Wiley University to a conference championship and was voted Goalkeeper of the Year. Kevin now is looking for his next step and has decided to transfer from Wiley University. We are so excited for Kevin's future and all the success that will continue to come his way.
